Whitney Houston was found under water and unconscious in a Beverly Hills hotel bathtub, authorities said yesterday.

Her aunt Mary Jones discovered the body Saturday and tried to revive the singer before paramedics arrived, TMZ reports. She was unsuccessful.

An autopsy was done Sunday, and authorities said there were no indications of foul play. While an official cause of death is pending toxicology results, TMZ says L.A. County Coroner officials told Whitney's family that she may have died from a combination of prescription drugs and alcohol.

Her body was flown to the East Coast yesterday on Tyler Perry's private jet, TMZ reports.

A wake is set for Thursday at the Whigham Funeral Home and the funeral will be held Friday at the Prudential Center, both in Newark, New Jersey, according to NBC News. Houston was born in Newark. Meanwhile, titles by Houston are at the top of the iTunes and Amazon charts.

Barack Obama's Press Secretary has released a statement, claiming the president's thoughts and prayers are with the star's family, especially her daughter Bobbi Kristina, who was taken to the hospital twice over the weekend. Family members fear Bobbi might be suicidal.

We previously reported Flo Rida is facing a lawsuit from his former administrative assistant, Mahogany Miller, who claims the rap star overworked and underpaid her. The rapper claims the allegations are false and told TMZ, “This is ridiculous that I gave someone an opportunity out of the goodness of my heart and now sadly I am being falsely targeted.” His lawyer denied Miller’s claims of working 65 hours a week and that she was only compensated with $3.08-per hour. In addition, Miller’s position was more of an internship and she was fired because her “behavior was inappropriate for the workplace environment.” She is still seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.
